Swedish Perch Open 2025 is over – Tobbe Larsson takes it home again! Yes, another fantastic perch season for SPERO is over and it's crazy how many skilled perch fishermen there are in Sweden. An incredible 44 perch of 50 cm or more have been caught in the competition! The two longest are both 52 cm and were caught by Tobbe Larsson who once again took home the entire competition with a total of 509 cm on his 10 longest fish. The length Tobbe rowed the competition with this year is on par with what very few catch in a lifetime, 52, 52, 51, 51, 51, 51, 51, 50, 50 and 50 cm. So we pay tribute to you once again Tobbe, even for the fourth time in the history of the competition.

Compete for fisheries conservation – SverigePäddan Autumn 2025 opened! SverigePäddan is a nationwide fishing competition that involves fishing for pike in your home waters and reporting your catches online. The purpose of the competition is to promote easy and fun fishing around the country. The entry fee goes entirely to the Sportfiskarna organization's work with fisheries conservation and youth activities. SverigePäddan has donated approximately SEK 500,000 to the Sportfiskarna organization since 2018.
