Welcome to the Swedish Championship in Gädda, Dalarna, 10% of the teams will advance to next year's Swedish Championship. Registration is done here at Eagle Fishing!
– We will gather at Fornby Langbrygga at 07:30 on May 31st for a review of the rules and distribution of measuring boards. Remember to ramp the boat beforehand.
Fishing takes place between 08:00 and 17:00. All boats must be in the water at the start. Water: All of Siljan including Byrviken.
The results are based on length in cm and registration of fish is done by photographing against a measuring board. The number on the measuring board must be clearly visible. The measuring board must be placed flat and horizontal and the tail fin may be adjusted carefully with ONE finger, the fish must be placed carefully on the measuring board and the fish must not be pulled. The fish may be held with one or, if necessary, two hands while the measurement and documentation are taking place but only ONE finger on the tail coil, if this is not followed, a 2 cm deduction will be made. When photographing, it must be clearly evident that the nose is against the edge and that the length can be clearly determined.
Reel fishing, spinning fishing, jerk fishing and fly fishing are permitted. Natural baits, trolling or so-called hangers are not permitted. Only fishing with one rod per person is permitted, but you can have more rods ready tackled in the boat.
All forms of live sensors are prohibited! Such as livescope, livesight, 360, etc. Either you remove the sensor before you arrive, or we will cover and seal the sensor in place when you arrive.
Fishing is only conducted from a boat and landing is not permitted except to meet natural needs or in an emergency. When disembarking, all fishing equipment must be left in the boat.
Team competition: Teams of 2-3 people.
All competitors must wear a life jacket, overalls, underwear or other buoyancy aid at all times from the time the boat leaves port until the boat returns to port. Applicable sea rules and speed regulations must always be followed. In case of emergency, contact
with the competition management should always take place as soon as possible.
The minimum approved fish is 60 cm. Spinning and catch & release fishing apply.
Registration of fish takes place via the Fishy app.
