This year we have received several requests about how we handle recaptures. Should they be counted or not?
Since before, there is the rule that a fish can be registered more than once as long as it is not caught on the same day! To clarify the competition, after checking with several participants and our reference group, we have decided to expand the rule.
Re-catch may be reported BUT ONLY ONCE and not if the fish is caught on the SAME DAY!
In practice, this means that some competitors can have the same fish registered a maximum of twice. So, keep an eye on your fish!
With that, we hope that no misunderstandings will occur and that the rule contributes to an even better competition!
