Team Vikapojkarna takes home the Swedish Ice Pike Open! After a long season of ice eating all over Sweden, we can now name Sweden's most skilled ice eaters!

The Swedish Ice Pike Open was decided this weekend, between December 2021 and April 2022 a total of 120 pike have been caught by 31 teams. The average length of these pikes was a nice 105.6 cm. Fish caught from south to north in our nice pike country!

With a fantastic suite of large pikes we can now celebrate Team Vikapojkarna, Sweden's best ice fishing team in 2022!

The Vika boys with Kalle Matsson, Anton Johansson and Mattias Böhlin have fished a total of 585 cm during the competition season. The top fish are impressive with a magic fish of 126 cm and one on point 120. The pike on 126 cm is also SIPO's longest for 2022! Big congratulations Kalle, Anton and Mattias, you did this really well!

In second place came Team Gäddmunken with Henrik Björkegren and Kristian Ståhl. A team that has been in the top fight for pretty much the entire competition. In total, the Monks fished a nice 576 cm with a nice fish of 118 cm on top! Good fishing and congratulations!

Finally in third place, Team Slaklina, Anna Wiksten and Kjell Wiksten, also a team that fished at the top for a longer period. A total of 570 cm with a neighboring pike of 120 cm at the top! Good fishing and congratulations!
