Invitation to SM Gädda 2024

 Laxsjöns Sportfiskare invites those who have qualified from the various districts of the Sportfiskare to join 

with those who qualified via the Swedish Pike League and the medalists from 2023 to settle for this year's SM in Gädda 

which runs on Lake Vänern on 5 October 2024.

Start and finish: Sunnanå Hamn, Mellerud

Competition format: Teams with 2 or 3 participants

Date: 5th October 2024

Competition time: 08:00 – 16:00

Entry fee: SEK 1,500 per team

Captain's meeting: 07:45 outside Stenmagasinet Link

Deadline for registration: September 4th (after that date, the request will be forwarded to those on the queue)

Training fishing: No training fishing as a team or individually for those who will participate from 23/9 until the start of the competition on 5 October

The composition of the team: Those who qualified for the SM with two participants may bring in a third participant, provided that this one not attended 

in the qualifiers for the SM with another team. Those who have qualified for the SM with three participants may replace one of the participants provided that he/she 

not participated in the qualifiers for the SM with another team

* Prohibition of forward-looking live donors

Prohibition of using live donors is the decision of Laxsjöns Sportfiskares. The reason is that Laxsjöns Sporfiskare wants as fair a competition as possible and our absolute opinion is that there is a clear majority around this decision. 

You who not can dismantle your live donors will get these sealed and this is provided by the organizer. Boats with sealed live transmitters must not break the sealing themselves, this must be done by a competition official 

Donors not allowed:

Garmin: Lvs12, Lvs32, Lvs34 and Lvs62xr 

Humminbird: Megalive Imaging 

Lowrance: Active Target and Active Target 2

There may be other makes and models and it is the responsibility of the contestants to keep informed of what applies.

Random checks will take place before and during the ongoing competition!

Plan A for our SM in Sunnanå is that the competition will be held in Lake Vänern. If the weather turns out to be unfavorable, we have a backup plan (Plan B) to run the competition in the two connected lakes Östebosjön and Svanefjorden, which are about 15 minutes north of Sunnanå. Ramp and guest harbor are available in Upperud.

A decision on the race location will be made by race management on the evening of October 4th based on the latest weather forecasts. Safety always comes first and is prioritized over fishing.

Training fishing:

To ensure fair conditions, no training fishing, either as a team or individually, will be allowed for those participating in the SM from September 23rd until the start of the competition on October 5th.
