The pike fight is a pike fishing competition for 2-3 man teams that is organized twice a year and is a sub-competition in the SPL.

Only spin fishing & fly fishing is allowed. Live fishing, vertical, trolling, angling etc. is not permitted.

The pike fight is a cash competition where the entire 10,000 SEK goes to the winning team at 45 paying teams.

All teams gather in Hofors before the start, after gathering you are free to fish wherever you want, as long as you make it back to the finish.

The competition ends with the teams gathering again in Hofors for the award ceremony.

The 4 longest pikes over 80 cm are counted and the highest total wins the competition.

The pike fight is a Catch'n Release competition, which means that the fish is shot against a measuring board and then released back into the water.

Maximum limit of 50 participating teams + sponsor teams

Registration fee SEK 800/team.
