Are you the best in Malmö? Compete for the title of King of the Channel in one of Europe's best perch waters!

The sport fishing giant and its partners invite you to a street fishing competition between December 1st and March 2nd with the final on March 9th! King of Kanalen is a street fishing competition for perch in the Malmö Kanal organized by Sportfiskegiganten.

New for this year is that all young people fish completely free (0-16 years) and compete completely for themselves in the qualifiers, where the 15 best go on to the same final as the seniors. Even during the final, the young people compete to become the "Prince of Kanalen", but are also of course in the King of Kanalen. That means you can win both Prince of Kanalen and King of Kanalen!

The fee for the competition includes a measuring board which is mandatory to use, it can be collected from the store, Lundavägen 56, Malmö. OPENING HOURS IN THE STORE are Monday - Friday: 10.00 - 18.00, Saturdays: 10.00 - 15.00 and on Sundays it is closed.

The competition is a qualifier for a final. The fifteen (15) people with the highest points (15 seniors and 15 juniors) at the end of the qualification will go to a separate final on Sunday 9 March 2025, when the result will be reset and the final will be held separately from the points in the qualification.

NOTE - The competition is individual and not for teams.
