We're visiting Yngern again! There will be a one-day perch competition 2.5 km south of Södertälje. 1st, 2nd, 3rd + longest perch will advance to the final in October. Catch the five longest perch during the day.

No preefish allowed from 30/6 at 08:00 - until the competition starts.

Not allowed with electric motor or live sensor.

- Captain's meeting on site before the start.

- Finish no later than 18:00.

- Fishing licenses are purchased by the competitors (Sportfiskekortet Stockholm).

 Yngern is a large clear water lake with a varied character of deep edges and shallow bays.

The fishing in the lake is varied with everything from bottom fishing for bream in the shallow bays to perch fishing along mountain slopes and pelagic pike fishing. Pimple fishing in winter with a balance pike after the lake's large perches is very good. The lake and its surroundings have very high natural values and the area invites you to fishing trips with camping and mushroom picking etc. The lake is large and patchy and there are many fishing spots to discover. In winter, the ice gives greater opportunities to reach attractive fishing spots.

In 2015, Yngern will be the first lake with a maximum size for perch. All perch of 38 centimeters or over must be released back into the lake, this to maintain the lake's populations of large perch. The large individuals play an important role in reproduction and the balance of the ecosystem.

The competition management reserves the right to use the participants' photos in future kayak fishing events.

Start/finish may be changed as well as change of sea in case of too strong wind.
