Trollingträff Åland is a tradition that has been organized since 1993 and attracts participants from near and far. Since 2015, the competition has been organized in Eckerö, Åland with Käringsund Resort & Conference as a competition center where all starts, weigh-ins, award ceremonies and dinners are gathered in one place. The time for Trolling meeting Åland 2025 is 4-7.6.2025. The competition begins with a pre-fish party with a barbecue dinner and a skipper's meeting on Wednesday evening, followed by 3 days of fishing.

Minimum number of participants per boat is 2., of which two are at least 15 years old. The names of all participants are entered in the registration. One of the competitors shall be appointed as the boat's skipper and shall be on the boat daily unless otherwise notified to the organizers. The skipper is entered as the first team member and it is their email and phone number that is entered under Contact details. The skipper must be reached via the information provided during the competition.
