Welcome to Perch NM 2022 – Øgderen (Hemnessjøen) August 27-28

For the sixth year in a row, Perch NM is organized. One of Norway's largest and best sportfishing competitions. The event runs over 2 days with activities on day 1 and competition on day 2. It is competed in 2-man teams from boats, where the winning team is the one that registers the longest total length divided by their 5 longest perches.

This year, the event moves down towards Perch-Riket Indre Østfold. Wherever it reaches Øgderen (Hemnessjøen), Norway's perch fishermen must compete against each other. A lake with a high density of larger aggressive perch that can hopefully provide some real high octane fishing.

Arrangement overview

This year we have chosen to put Perch NM over 2 days. Day 1 (Saturday) will consist of sponsor and organizer participation with equipment exhibition, demonstrations and lectures. In the evening there will be «Pre-fish» with social gathering and music. Day 2 is your competition day with live broadcast and prize ceremony.

There are 65 free places out of a total of 75 teams, the 10 extra places are reserved for pre-registered pro teams.

NB: All teams that meet on Saturday also have the opportunity to participate in a short intro-interview where they can present and promote themselves. Interview will be possible between 14:00 and 20:00. This is of course completely voluntary, but we think it can be a fun thing that we can show occasionally while the live broadcast is going on. All teams that come to the interview are also entered into the draw for a gift card worth NOK 5,000.

NB 2: There is no extra cost for participation on Saturday

NB 3: We have a number of bedrooms available. The rooms are large and spacious and equipped with a private bathroom. There will only be participants for Perch NM who want to be present during the competition weekend, so we don't have to take into account guests other than ourselves. Along with the rooms, there is also a large common area and a large common kitchen. To reserve a room go to RESERVATION

NB 4: Overnight in a tent. For those who want to spend the night in a tent, there is the option of setting up a tent on a large grass plain north of the main building. Tenting from Saturday to Sunday is covered by the organizer. If you want to come earlier, you can contact Synne via SMS to tel: 94135884. 

NB 5: It is your opportunity to launch a boat from 12:00 Saturday. Those who wish to set out earlier may do so on their own initiative, but note that you may be asked to move the boat / car and trailer.

  • The total length of each team's 5 longest perches
  • There is competition for the top 3
    • Mao: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded

  • Individual premiums are long overdue
