Welcome to the first competition of the year in Kayak Fisherman of the Year - Stora Hålsjön - Kinna - Borås

When: 6-7/5 2023

Where: Kinna, Borås. Stora Hålsjön.

What: Two days of competition. Perch and Pike (5+3).

1,2,3 qualify for the finals in Kayak Fisherman of the Year and longest fish.

Perch: 5

Pike: 3

Schedule:

Saturday: Start 08:00 – 16:00

Captain's meeting at 7:30 a.m. at the beach where we start and finish.

Sunday: Start 08:00 – 15:00

Closing and distribution of the coveted places to the final immediately after the finish.

NOTE no Preefish, the water is canceled the whole of V18.

Accommodation:

Seglora camping. 10 minutes from where we have the start and finish.

You can also camp right next to the lake. Caravan/Motorhome also works well.

Stora Hålsjön is a medium-sized lake of approx. 400 ha where parts of the northern side are bordered by vertical rock walls. The lake is connected to Viskan through a 2km dug canal (Husån). Occurring fish species are perch, bream, pike, zander, tench, roach, sable, whitefish, eel, tench, gerbil, whitefish & northern pike.
