Last week was again a really exciting pike fishing week, several competitions took place and the pike people were really on G.
First, we just have to pay tribute to the girls in the competition. Three of them are currently in the Top 20! One of them, young skilled Mia Bagger, has registered her first "plus" in addition. Congratulations!
Then to something more boring. Today, we have really put our foot down when it comes to bad measurement photos, beaks that are not at zero, beaks that may be at zero but the photo is taken so askew that it cannot be seen, bent measuring tools, etc.
If one or more errors can be found, we have deducted 3 cm for each error, a maximum of six cm can be deducted. Some fish have been completely rejected as there was no possibility to see where the measuring tool starts and ends. A tip for all of you who do not have a stop on your measuring tool. Get one like this and you will avoid deductions.
In the future we will to examine all fish of 100 cm and longer, we do random samples of other fish. This takes an incredible amount of our time, so please be careful when measuring and take lots of pictures, for your own sake!
