First spinning fish in the Swedish Perch Open and new leader! Not entirely unexpectedly, the Swedish Perch Open's fish have so far been dominated by perches from the ice, now we have received our first report from open water!

The weekend yielded a total of fourteen new fish of 40 cm or more. The longest actually taken this morning is the skillful Johan Lotthagen. A SuperSize perch on the dot 50 cm, his seventh SuperSize perch ever.

As I said, we also got our first perch from open water. Ozzie Manglind was responsible for it, from the famous Malmö canal fishing. Of course, we hope for more skilled perch fishermen from this water. Good fishing!

We also have a new leader and a new second. With four new fish, including a 49th, Per Olsson takes first place, a fine 455 cm in total. Mikael Herbertsson has also fished well, now with a total of 440 cm he is in second place! See all results here.
