This year's edition of GIP has been extremely exciting and until the very end the outcome has been uncertain. When the gunpowder smoke settled, we can state that ONE measly centimeter separated two competitors, 245 cm against 244 cm. Talk about an exciting and even competition!
Three fat sea urchins of 50cm were caught by each of the top three and all took completely different baits & fishing techniques: G BUMP – SKIPWORK and MEGALON. Cool! With the following fine series of coarse perches of 50, 49, 49, 49, 48, it is OLA BERGMAN who draws the longest straw and becomes this year's winner of GUNKI IRON PERCH !!! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!! Second, only 1 centimeter short of Ola, is Ingemar Wrigsell with 244 cm divided into 50, 49, 49, 49, 47. Bravo!!! In 3rd place comes Mikael Herbertsson with a very stable 242 cm, nice job!
4th place among those who registered at least 5 fish was raffled to David Nilsson and 5th place was raffled to Mikael Bilander. Congratulations to you too! The nice price table will be sent out to everyone shortly.
