Swedish Pike Open – New in Top Five! there is still somewhat lower activity in the competition as it should be. The heat has made many contestants stay at home, that's good!
There has been some fishing in large waters and waters further north and some really nice fish have come up. Kent "Rockabilly" Olssons fantastic pike of 14690 grams and 118 cm for example, see this one!
Things have also happened in the Top Five, skilled Linus Lennartsson has fished his way up to second place with now a total of 573 cm with a suite of 120, 115, 114, 112 and 112 cm, good there! In the picture you see Nicklas Andersson, former finalist in SPO, with a nice fish of 124 cm, tied for fourth longest in the competition this year. Nice Nicklas!
At the top we still have Fredrik Lind at a whopping 599 cm! You can find the whole list here!
Good fishing everyone, now we have to keep our fingers crossed for a bit colder weather and many more fish, there is only one month left of the qualifier!
